The 2025 Entheo Cup is a collaborative effort between Michigan Psychedelic Society, Detroit Psychedelic Society, Center for Mycological Analytics Kilindi Iyi Lab, and Oakland Hyphae.

This cup is less of a competition and more of a way to encourage practices for safe/responsible use and offer education around entheogenic plants and fungi. We honor building a strong and sustainable foundation for our local psychedelic community by our local community. These include things like encouraging ethical business models, grassroots community building, service work, working to ensure access for all, and collaboration amongst groups throughout the state.

The 2025 Cup has a “competition” and an “event”. Winners of the competition will be announced at the Entheo Cup event Aug 23, 2025 at Per Ankh Church in Detroit.

We are also excited to announce that we will be giving Michigan Entheogen Community Steward Awards at the event. We will accept nominations in 5 categories and will put the vote out to the community to pick the actual winners.  

This event is a fundraiser. Partial proceeds will go to local psychedelic non-profits for things like community building and legislative efforts. Scholarships for Cup submissions are available for those who need them.

MPS has meetings in various areas throughout the state. Currently there are monthly meetings in Jackson. We have events every couple months in Ann Arbor and are working towards monthly/bi-monthly meetings there. Also there is a group forming in West Michigan. We will keep everyone updated as we know more about these groups and dates
